Angel Lea (pronounced lee), began coaching contemporary voice during her junior year at Berklee College of Music. After Berklee, she opened her first voice studio in her hometown of Knoxville, TN, Star Quality Voice & Performance; where she privately coached hundreds of students, ages 7-17, between 2003 & 2011.
In 2012, Lea started her music publishing company, Lady Leona Publishing, now, Lady Lea Music, LLC. Under her publishing company, Lea has written & co-written songs with GRAMMY winning artists, Timbaland, Ledisi, Chuck Harmony, Tamela Mann, Estelle & more; achieving her first platinum record in 2015 for Conqueror, from FOX’s Empire, and many more top Billboard charting records.
In 2015, Lea moved to Los Angeles, where she founded her second voice studio, Angel Lea Vocal Studio, LLC (ALVS). ALVS partners with major record labels to cultivate the vocal & performance talents of recording artists. Clients include Sony Music, Arista Records, Universal Music, Republic Records, 300 Entertainment, & Quality Control Music. ALVS is also the head company of Lea’s vocal brand, Sing With Angel Lea ® (SWAL).
Currently, in addition to preparing to launch her revolutionary contemporary vocal technique & song teaching method, Lea is actively composing, writing, and producing.
